Who am I?
My name is Maximilian Patterson, I’m a software engineer from the midwestern US. Currently, I’m employed by a small fintech company doing full-stack Laravel and Go programming. My interests include programming, Linux, languages, philosophy, Christianity, and more.
What is this?
This is my personal website, here I create blog posts in the posts section. I focus my writing on Linux, programming, self-hosted software, and related topics.
Why does this website look so simple?
I’m a minimalist, and I like to keep things fast and clean. Modern websites are extremely bloated with ads, trackers, and unnecessary JavaScript. I made a deliberate choice to keep my website as slim as possible opting for a statically generated Hugo site with a custom theme.
